Prenatal Care 

  • 24/7 availability throughout your pregnancy and the first six weeks after your baby's birth. You can be assured you will always reach your midwife directly, by phone, email or text  

  • Prenatal visits in your home, that allow time to thoroughly assess your health and your baby's well-being and to support you to thrive during pregnancy. Topics such as nutrition, use of herbs, appropriate exercise and mindfulness practice are covered. All your questions are addressed and we talk about your birth and the postpartum period. 

  • Discussion of and information and referrals for all the standard screening, testing and treatment options available

During labor and birth I safeguard you and your baby's wellbeing as you take the time you need to birth your baby. In early labor we stay in close contact. By active labor I arrive to your home and remain with you through your birth and the first few hours postpartum.  A second midwife arrives closer to the time your baby is born.

I provide:

  • Continuous labor and birth support through the immediate postpartum time
  • Skillful and respectful monitoring of both you and your baby's well-being
  • A second Licensed Midwife to assist 
  • Full newborn assessment and exam with some newborn medical procedures available
  • Repair tears if needed
  • Breastfeeding support
  • Clean up
  • Paperwork necessary to register your baby
  • Lots of love and respect!


  • Nurturing and attentive  care in your home, for both you and your baby, over a 6 week period, with at least 3 visits within the first week 
  • Complete breastfeeding support including the breast crawl 
  • Craniosacral therapy for your newborn
  • Newborn care recommendations
  • Continued support throughout the newborn period providing appropriate information, referrals and resources
  • Assistance obtaining your baby's birth certificate
