The Birth Keepers’ Circle is a place where women gain the support and skills to be in right-relationship with their work in the world.
Join other birth keepers in a facilitated generous exploration, ask & answer questions, get real, laugh, be fierce, learn, untangle dilemmas, forgive, repair, vent, grieve, tell the truth of it all, heal together and become more resourced and free to thrive in your beautiful work with women.
No topic is off limits.
No question is too small.
No feeling is too big.
Themes we explore include:
What is your ‘work in the world’ - what are you here to do? What are your unique gifts? How are you fulfilled in your work?
In what ways do you feel stuck? What are your options?
Do you want to stay in the system and be healthier or do you want to leave the system, but don’t know how?
Who is your ideal client? Are the clients you’re attracting a good fit?
How do you prepare for a birth, be at a birth and disengage from a birth? What are your practices to stay grounded?
What traumas or fears are you collecting along the way? How are you attending to this?
How can you communicate information effectively so that your clients know what their options are? What does it mean to be an “advocate” for your clients?
When is your desire to guide and inspire useful? What do you do when you disagree with your client’s decisions?
How do you facilitate your client’s exploration of their fears, when you are also afraid?
How do you talk with clients about their difficult birth experiences? What about when their memory of what happened is different than yours? What can you do when a client blames you? How do you take your share of responsibility and not more?
And that’s just the beginning…
